Training methods

We utilise the most recent training methods, as taught at one of the oldest European Universities, the Charles University in Prague.

At first, we do an overview of basketball skills - dribbling, passing, shooting etc.

After this overview, we divide participants into age and skills groups.

Every morning is then dedicated to the improvement of basketball skills. The training is divided into two training units, coordinated by one of the coaches. This clinic takes 15 minutes and all the players in the camp participate. First part of the afternoon is dedicated to the drill of various defense and offense game situations - 3 on 3, two alternating players on each side. Second afternoon unit is dedicated to game situations across the whole playing field, 5 on 5. Four evenings are dedicated to a basketball tournament. Each training day concludes with a shooting competition. The best players receive a prize at the end of the camp. Each training group also participates in a track and field practice. Every other day, a complementary tournament in beach volleyball takes place, regeneration is naturally an indivisible part of the whole program. The afternoon and evening of the third day is dedicated to a full recovery of the players, we organise a trip to Prague, 50 kilometers away.

Basketball skills practice is recorded on video, which is then analysed with the players.
